Westminster Register Office Wedding Photographer. I was contacted by Sean and Lijun about a Registry Office Wedding at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in Westminster. Sean had contacted me about a month before he was due to be married. Within a few weeks, Sean and Lijun’s wedding plans had changed drastically because of the Coronavirus.
Due to the whole world’s reaction to the virus, it was no longer possible for guests to travel to the UK from other countries. These were unprecedented times. Sean and Lijin had to make some big changes, not only to their guest list but also to the coverage and actual wedding date. Sean’s family was in America and Lijun’s family was in China. Because of the imposed travel restrictions – Sean and Lijun decided to stream the wedding live, which I thought was a fantastic idea!!
Apart from changing their wedding coverage, they also changed the date of their wedding, bringing it forward to just before the UK lockdown came into effect. They were so lucky as had they not done so they would not yet be married! The actual coverage was only 1 hour in the end, but under the circumstances this was perfect!! Sean and Lijun were so happy to be finally married. I wish them a very happy and healthy future.
