Wedding Photographer Bexley Kent Greenwich. I distinctly remember my first contact with Leanne. She called me to enquire about my photography service. After a brief chat on the phone, we met shortly afterwards where I met Paul and the rest of the family. They were looking for a photographer who could capture the wedding in a natural photo-journalistic way. This was perfect as my natural style is to capture weddings as they happen.
One Sunny and very hot day…
When I arrived to take pictures of Leanne getting ready, I remember getting out of my car only to be hit by heat and humidity! What a scorcher of a day! Once I was inside, I met Leanne who looked absolutely beautiful. I followed Leanne going downstairs and captured one of my favourite shots of the day! You could see how proud Leanne’s parents were to see her dressed so beautifully. After a few liquid refreshments, Leanne was really to go – so she jumped in a specially prepared black cab and made her way down to St. John the Evangelist Parish Church in Bexley.
The Ceremony…
Before the ceremony began, I introduced myself to the Parish Clerk. After a brief chat, I was informed that I was not allowed to use flash photography and that I was only allowed to stand in one position and was not allowed to move around. Although not ideal, this was not really a problem at all as I have been in this situation many times before and I was able to capture some fantastic shots from just one position with no flash.
On to the reception…
When the ceremony finished, we all made our way to the reception in Eltham/Greenwich where we all enjoyed some cool and fresh drinks and the guests enjoyed the rest of the evening with bouncy castles and great food.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Paul and Leanne for letting me photograph their wedding. I wish you both a happy and fantastic marriage.
