Wandsworth Wedding Photographer London. When Cameron and Penny first got in touch, they told me they’d come across some of my previous weddings at Wandsworth Town Hall and loved my documentary-style approach. Always nice to hear – and even better when the wedding turns out to be as joyful and relaxed as theirs.

The ceremony took place in the Grand Chamber. It really lives up to the name. Think high ceilings and a real sense of occasion. Fun fact: Wandsworth Town Hall is a Grade II listed building from the 1930s, and its Art Deco architecture makes it feel like you’ve stepped onto a film set.

The ceremony itself was short and sweet – but packed with personal touches. Two heartfelt readings, one from each of their sisters, gave the whole thing a warm and emotional tone. Penny is English, and Cameron is Australian, and their families and friends filled the room with love (and a few happy tears). Cameron’s family had flown in from Australia, which just added to the celebratory energy.

Now, let’s talk outfits. Cameron looked sharp in a modern, laid-back suit with no tie (very Aussie cool), while Penny absolutely stunned in a sleeveless lace gown. But the back of the dress stole the show – a pearl-draped open keyhole that looked like it belonged on the red carpet. Breath-taking!

After the “I do’s,” we made the most of the Grand Staircase for some group shots. It’s one of those locations that does all the hard work for you – classic, grand, and photogenic from every angle. Then came the Classic Red Routemaster Bus tour through Wandsworth and Putney – the perfect way to show the Aussie guests a bit of London charm.

The reception was at The Boathouse in Putney – a relaxed riverside pub with cracking views of the Thames. The couple kept things informal, chatting easily with guests, soaking up the sunshine and grinning like kids on Christmas morning. We snuck away for a few portraits by the river, and honestly, the light, the love, the laughter – it all just came together.

My style is all about capturing those real, unscripted moments – and Cameron and Penny gave me plenty. A day full of connection, laughter, and zero stress. Just how it should be..
