Wedding Photographer Greenwich Yacht Club 1. So we are right in the middle of an English summer… hot – then cold – rain – then cold – then hot again… and as luck would have it Christina’s wedding fell right on a hot day!!! The day started off in the Novotel in Greenwich which was perfect as Christina had lots of relatives staying at the same hotel. Most of her relatives including her parents had travelled all the way from America.
Once Christina was ready, we all made our way to the wedding ceremony at St.Paul’s Church in Deptford. It is a very impressive church with beautiful architecture, a spectacular organ and very spacious grounds. The ceremony was performed by Father Paul Butler.
I was touched to see that Christina’s father was very emotional as he walked Christina down the aisle. In fact, it was not just Christina’s father… her whole family were visibly moved by the emotion of the moment. I could tell that it was going to be an emotional day.
Off to the Greenwich Yacht Club.
Once the ceremony was over, everybody was transported from the church to the Greenwich Yacht Club which has such a unique view of the Thames and the O2 Dome. Coincidentally, I am a Preferred Photographer for the Greenwich Yacht Club so it was great to be back there again.
Before all the guests sat down for their meal, Christina, Harry and I took a short walk around the venue to get a few portraits… We managed to get some fantastic shots with some fantastic backgrounds.
After the first dance, Christina asked if I could photograph her dancing with her father which is a very popular American tradition. As you can see from the pictures, Christina and her father were both in tears… What more can I say!!! I’d like to congratulate Harry and Christina on their wedding and wish them all the best for the future.
