Islington Town Hall Wedding Photography London. Sometimes, the best plans are made at the last minute. Ana contacted me on rather short notice to photograph her and Marko’s wedding at Islington Town Hall, and I’m glad I could be a part of their big day.
Islington Town Hall really is a gem for intimate ceremonies, and the Mayor’s Parlour is a charming, uniquely styled space perfect for their small gathering. With just their two closest friends present as guests, the ceremony was beautifully intimate, filled with joy and heartfelt moments.
Ana couldn’t help but smile, and neither could Marko; they were just over the moon about tying the knot. They looked elegant together in such a timeless fashion—Ana in her dress, Marko in his sharp suit. Their happiness really lit up!
Afterwards, we took a short walk to the nearby park for portraits. The leaves were breathtakingly beautiful in the fall, and during any other season, the bright sun was just brilliant. We took our time shooting candidly to feature the natural connection they shared. From quiet, subtle smiles to bursts of laughter, these were as real as it gets.
As a documentary photographer, I focused on capturing the real emotions and those short-lived moments of the day, letting Ana and Marko be themselves without interference. My candid approach fit perfectly with their relaxed celebration, and I had the story of their day told just the way it unfolded.
Before heading to a cosy restaurant for a celebratory meal, the couple took one last stroll together, hand in hand, enjoying the first moments of their new chapter together.
