Camden Town Hall Wedding. Shai and Maria’s London wedding was a brilliant example of how simple plans and the right location can come together perfectly. They first got in touch after spotting my details on Camden Town Hall’s recommended supplier list – always a nice place to be found.

Camden Town Hall is one of London’s most recognisable registry offices. Opened in 1937 and now Grade II listed, it was designed by architect Albert Richardson in a refined neo-Georgian style, which gives it real presence. Inside, the Regency Room was where Shai and Maria said their vows. The space is beautifully decorated, filled with plants and finished with a rich, balanced colour scheme that photographs incredibly well from every angle.

Before the ceremony, Shai and Maria wanted to fully embrace Camden itself. They both love the area and were really keen to make it part of their wedding day. So we headed into Camden Market for a pre-wedding photoshoot. With bold graffiti, textured walls and busy streets, Camden Market delivered exactly what they wanted. The shoot was lively, fast-moving and full of course full of laughter, with the two of them clearly enjoying every minute together.

Once we finished the photoshoot, we made our way back to Camden Town Hall where Shai and Maria changed from their casual photoshoot outfits into smart, elegant outfits for their ceremony. The wedding itself was short and intimate, attended by a small group of immediate close family and friends. The atmosphere was warm and personal, with everyone fully present and ready to celebrate.

Afterwards, we captured confetti outside the town hall, with guests in great spirits and the newlyweds soaking it all in.

My documentary, candid approach meant the day unfolded naturally, without interruption, focusing on real interactions and genuine moments as they happened. A relaxed London wedding, rooted in a place they love, and photographed exactly as it felt on the day..
