Wedding Photographer Danson House Registry Office

Wedding Photographer Danson House Registry Office. When Charlotte recommended me to Connie and Lorenzo, it really meant a lot. I’d photographed Charlotte’s wedding back in 2023, so it’s always a huge compliment when past couples trust me enough to recommend me to their friends and family. Connie and Lorenzo were an absolute pleasure to photograph from start to finish.

Their wedding took place at the beautiful Danson House Registry Office in Bexley. One of my favourite ceremony rooms there is the Sir John Boyd’s Room. It’s ideal for smaller weddings, with large windows overlooking Danson Park, giving the room plenty of natural light and lovely views.

The ceremony itself was short, intimate and personal, surrounded by their closest family. It was a wonderful mix of cultures too, bringing together Lorenzo’s Italian family and Connie’s English family. The atmosphere felt relaxed from the very beginning, and everyone was genuinely excited to celebrate together.

One thing that stood out all day was Connie and Lorenzo’s chemistry. They were constantly laughing, joking and giggling together, making my job very easy! Those natural moments are exactly what I love to capture, and they fit perfectly with my documentary approach to wedding photography. Rather than interrupting the day, I prefer to let events unfold naturally, creating candid photographs that tell the real story of the wedding.

Connie looked effortlessly elegant in her simple, modern wedding dress with its high neckline and flowing veil, while Lorenzo looked incredibly smart in a navy jacket, crisp white trousers and brown shoes. Together they made a fantastic-looking couple, and their relaxed personalities really shone through in every photograph.

After the ceremony, we crossed over to the beautiful English Gardens opposite Danson House for their portraits. The gardens were looking fantastic and provided a stunning setting without needing to wander too far from the venue.

The celebrations continued with plenty of smiles and laughter from all the guests. As an Italian myself, it was especially fun chatting with Lorenzo’s family throughout the day. They certainly weren’t expecting someone with a bit of a Cockney accent to suddenly start speaking Italian! It definitely raised a few eyebrows and produced plenty more laughs.

It was such a lovely wedding to be part of – relaxed, full of personality, and a brilliant reminder that the smallest weddings can often create some of the biggest memories.
