St Georges Town Hall Wedding Photographer

St Georges Town Hall Wedding Photographer. Dariia first contacted me online, and from our very first phone call I knew this was going to be my kind of wedding. She had a clear vision for their day – relaxed, intimate and genuine. No fuss, just real moments captured naturally. That fits my documentary approach perfectly, quietly observing, blending into the background, and photographing the day as it genuinely unfolds.

Their ceremony took place at St George’s Town Hall, one of East London’s most recognisable civic buildings. Originally opened in 1869, the building has been at the heart of the local community for well over 150 years, and it still has that lovely mix of history and character that makes registry office weddings feel so special.

Yarri and Dariia chose the Hamlet Suite for their ceremony, and it was a brilliant choice. Bright, modern, and beautifully decorated, it created the perfect setting for their small and intimate wedding. With only their closest family present, the whole ceremony felt wonderfully personal. Short, meaningful, and full of smiles from start to finish.

Yarri and Dariia… they were so happy to finally become husband and wife.

Dariia looked incredible in her elegant long white wedding dress, while Yarri looked seriously sharp in his navy suit. Together they looked effortlessly stylish, especially when they had their “Sunglasses” mode on but more importantly, completely comfortable with each other – always smiling, always happy and sharing laughs.

After the ceremony – and a confetti throw outside the town hall – we headed next door to St George’s Gardens for family photographs. With champagne flowing and everyone relaxed, it made for some lovely natural moments with their closest family.

We also spent some time capturing portraits in the gardens, as well as beside the huge mural on the side of St George’s Town Hall, which gave us something a little different and full of East London character.

One thing that was especially important to Yarri and Dariia was exploring London together for their couple portraits. So from there we headed to Tower Bridge, wandered through the surrounding streets, and finished in Wood Wharf. Historic architecture, modern city lines, waterfront reflections… and these two looked absolutely amazing in every single location.

A brilliant London wedding. Relaxed, stylish, and completely true to them.
