Kimpton Fitzroy Wedding Photographer London. For many reasons, Photographing Jamie and David’s wedding was a real privilege. I photographed Jamies sister’s wedding back in 2015. Fast forward eight years later, and I am photographing Jamie’s wedding!!!

Jamie and David married at the luxurious Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel in Russell Square, Bloomsbury, London. The Kimpton Fitzroy is a stunning 19th Century Hotel with a beautiful contemporary interior.

When I arrived to photograph Jamie’s bride prep, Jamie was super chilled and relaxed. She had everything under control. I am a documentary-style photographer, so I let things happen naturally rather than try to stage moments. After taking candid pictures of Jamie and her sister, I photographed David relaxing with his close family in the Hotel Lobby!

Once I had finished photographing David – It was time for the main event!!! Jamie had decided to surprise David by playing the Trumpet to the beautiful song “All you need is Love”. Everyone loved Jamie’s little surprise!!!

After the ceremony, Jamie and David mingled with all their guest during the reception. Jamie and David wanted to take pictures outside in Russell Square during the reception – However, it was raining all day. So I decided to take couples portraits of the newlyweds inside the Hotel. I am so glad we did because the Hotel architecture is incredible!!!

During the wedding reception – The Ballroom was transformed into a beautiful reception room ready for the wedding breakfast. After the speeches and meal – the only thing left to do was to party and have fun!!!

This is exactly what everyone did – They also did it to Frank Sinatra on the dancefloor with a little family tradition of dancing to “My Way”, which was great fun to watch and photograph!!!
