Wedding Photographer Clarendon Hotel Blackheath Greenwich

Wedding Photographer Clarendon Hotel Blackheath Greenwich. Wow – I can’t believe that a year has passed since Dave and Louise asked me to photograph their wedding. It felt like only yesterday that we were chatting about their plans. I distinctly remember three things about Dave and Louise. 1. This couple were very much in love. 2. Photography was very important to them and 3. The theme of the wedding was based on their car. This is not just any ordinary car – it’s a red 1960′s SS Impala and wow what a head turner! It’s Dave’s second pride and joy… after Louise that is!

The Clarendon

When I turned up to photograph the bridal preparations, to my surprise I walked into a stress-free (yes I did say stress-free!) Bridal Suite. In total there was one bride, two hair and makeup artists, four bridesmaids and me, the photographer, all sharing one room! I have to say though that there was plenty of room for everyone. As it was getting close to leaving time I made my way back to Christ Church in Eltham.

Christ Church Eltham

By the time I reached the church the sun had really come out to give Dave and Louise a beautiful day to celebrate their wedding. Once the ceremony was finished we headed outside for group photos and some candid shots. Then we all made our way back to the Clarendon Hotel, Blackheath for drinks and food. While all this was going on I was asked by the newlyweds to give the bridesmaids a little photo shoot with the Impala… How could I refuse? I loved it and so did the bridesmaids. On that note I will mention that Louise and Dave have a special group of friends, so much so that they even put together a little song and dance as a surprise for the bride and groom! What a brilliant end to a beautiful day!

Congratulations to Dave and Louise on their marriage… and to The Clarendon Hotel for their hospitality. Thank you again! You can find out more details about weddings at The Clarendon Hotel by clicking on the link. Here are a few pictures from the day. I really hope you enjoy them.

Wedding Well Hall Pleasaunce Greenwich Eltham

Wedding Well Hall Pleasaunce Greenwich Eltham.  Tim and Julie contacted me earlier this year about photographing their wedding in Eltham, Greenwich. This was great because I got a chance to photograph the happy couple at Well Hall Pleasaunce, which is such a beautiful place to take photos.

The Bride & Groom

The ceremony was at St Barnabas in Eltham. It was a scorching hot day, and I mean scorching hot. I arrived at the church early to meet the priest and was joined shortly after by Tim and his best man. All of the guests soon joined Tim as everyone found refuge in the shade!

Once the ceremony was over Tim and Julie were bombarded by friends and family with hugs and kisses, and the confetti soon followed suit! When the congratulations were finished I whisked the couple away for a little shoot in the gorgeous Well Hall Pleasaunce. This provided the PERFECT backdrop for Tim & Julie. We look lots of photos and incorporated Tim & Julie’s ideas too!

The day was getting on so we headed back to the reception where Tim, Julie and I were greeted by the most thirst quenching glass of orange juice I have ever tasted. It was delicious! I then proceeded to take the formals and candid shots. Tim and Julie had asked me to carry on shooting for a few more hours as they wanted me to capture more of the day for them. Of course I was happy to do so. I had a great time with Tim and Julie, and here are a few shots of the day. I hope you like them. Thank you for looking.

London Wedding Photographer Wallace Collection

London Wedding Photographer Wallace Collection. I was very excited when I was contacted by Tom and Eriko about their wedding reception at the Wallace Collection in Central London. I had not been to the Wallace Collection before - However when I was at the Venue I was absolutely stunned at how large and how special the Collection is. I was at the Venue early as usual and I was amazed to see how busy it was so early in the morning.

About the Wallace Collection

In a nutshell...The Wallace Collection is a national museum which displays the wonderful works of art collected in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries by the first four Marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace, the son of the 4th Marquess. It was bequeathed to the British nation by Sir Richard's widow, Lady Wallace, in 1897. Displayed at Hertford House, the main London townhouse of its former owners, the Wallace Collection presents its outstanding collections in a sumptuous but approachable manner which is an essential part of its charm. You can find more info here http://www.wallacecollection.org/

Back to Tom and Eriko

Tom was looking for a very special place to host their special wedding reception as they literally had guests coming from all over to join them on their special day. Tom and Eriko are a lovely couple who are very much in love. We were not allowed to use flash photography - no matter how much I begged and pleaded... so we had to get a little creative...  We had a great time exploring the Wallace Collection with its Grand Rooms.

I would also like to thank all the staff and security at the Wallace collection for their hospitality.   I hope I can get the chance to photograph there again! Here are some photos of the day. I hope you enjoy them!

Wedding Photography at The Corinthia Hotel London

Corinthia Hotel London Wedding Photography. I met Phui-Ling a short while ago to make arrangements for her marriage to Luke at the Kensington and Chelsea Registry Office. One of the first things I noticed about Phui-Ling is that she is such a lovely lady and very organised, which I greatly admire!!

On their wedding day, I met Luke and Phui-Ling at the Registry Office just before the ceremony and they both looked fantastic. Not even the weather could spoil their mood. I noticed straight away that they were a very relaxed and easy going couple, and to be honest I really enjoyed photographing them. Nothing was too much trouble. When you’re photographing people, co-operation is so important.

Once the ceremony was finished we proceeded outside to receive congratulations from their guests. Luke & Phui-Ling had very kindly arranged to transport their guests to The Corinthia Hotel London for the reception. Once we arrived I was greeted by a beautiful view from the Lobby Lounge. The first thing I thought was I must get a photograph of the couple in the Lounge. Sure enough I did and I think the couple looked amazing!

Reception at the Corinthia Hotel London

The rest of the bride and groom’s friends and family joined the couple at The Corinthia Hotel London later that evening. The guests were treated to a private dining area which had such a WOW factor. The whole day was perfect from beginning to end. I would like to thank Phui-Ling and Luke for letting me photograph their perfect wedding day… Congratulations!!! Also a big thank you to The Corinthia Hotel London for their hospitality. Thank you again! You can find out more details about weddings at The Corinthia Hotel by clicking on the link.

The Ritz London Wedding Photographer

Wedding Photography at The Ritz London

The Ritz London Wedding Photographer. What a special day it was for me as I was attending my first ever wedding at The Ritz as a wedding photographer. I was second shooting for my very good friend and amazing photographer Iain Gomes. The wedding was for Tony and Pariena, who were so enjoyable to work with.

Tony and Pariena’s wedding was not an ordinary one. It was a mix of Greek and Indian culture and there were lots of friends and family from both sides who were there to share their big day! We were all surprised to see the sun come out in full force and the Ritz staff were quick to move the reception drinks to the beautiful Ritz gardens. The champagne was flowing, the guests were mingling in the sun and the magician was treating all the guest to his spectacular magic tricks!

The Ritz is such an amazing and very special venue, from the rooms to the staff. It’s all geared towards an unforgettable experience. The staff are unbelievably helpful – nothing is ever too much trouble. The minute you walk through the door you know that you are at a very special place.

Congratulations to Tony and Pariena on their marriage… and secondly to Iain Gomes and the Ritz for their hospitality. Thank you again! You can find out more details about weddings at The Ritz by clicking on the link.

Kent Wedding Photographer – Port Lympne Mansion

Kent Wedding Photographer Port Lympne Mansion

Kent Wedding Photographer Port Lympne Mansion

Kent Wedding Photographer Port Lympne Mansion. What a beautiful day to be a wedding photographer in Kent at Port Lympne Mansion… It was such a sunny day! Alex and Billie were very, very lucky with the weather, especially considering the day before hadn’t been so great. Being at Port Lympne Mansion in Kent was such a brilliant experience. Not only were the garden areas really picturesque with surprises around every corner, but the interior was so unexpected… there were rooms with lots of murals on every wall and ceiling. The murals were of animals – absolutely stunning.

I was only at Alex & Billie’s wedding reception for a few hours, but I can definitely say that I would love to shoot another wedding there as there are so many opportunities to take some amazing pictures. Alex looked very chilled and relaxed while joking around with his groomsmen before the ceremony. All the guests were amazed at the murals and the venue decor! The wedding ceremony went smoothly and Alex & Billie were finally married. After the ceremony all the guests headed outside to get some sun and explore the gardens. A big thank you to my very good friend and amazing photographer Iain Gomes for asking me to assist him as a second shooter. Thanks Iain!!!

Congratulations to Alex & Billie on their marriage…I wish you all the best for your future together. Click here for more details about Port Lympne MansionHere are a few shots from the wedding. I hope you enjoy them.

Eltham Palace Wedding Photographer

Eltham Palace Wedding Photographer

Eltham Palace Wedding Photographer. Well it seems like only a little while ago that I blogged about a missed opportunity for a wedding at Eltham Palace. Lo and behold, my very good friend and superb photographer Iain Gomes from gomesphotography.co.uk came to the rescue and asked if I would second shoot for him… My answer was most definitely ”YES!!!”

I knew this wedding was going to be special. The minute you walk into the palace you can tell that there is plenty of character and stacks of opportunities in and around the palace to take amazing photographs. It was an unexpectedly sunny day and the bride and groom made the most of it by photographing the formal shoots outside.

Chris and Kat were a very relaxed couple from the start of the day through to the very end. Kat has some amazing bridesmaids who not only made the wedding cake, but they also sang for them… how cool was that? Chris and Kat treated their guests to a live band who played a ceilidh after their first dance… The celebrations went on into the night… I also forgot to mention that the pianist was from the Ritz and he played some beautiful music! What a treat and a beautiful day.

Congratulations to Chris and Kat on their marriage… and secondly a BIG, BIG thank you to Iain Gomes from gomesphotography.co.uk for giving me the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Eltham Palace – You are my hero!!  Thank you again!
